it depends on what you use your 6.5 for and how you drive. mine is it 150,000 and still going strong

How hard is it to turn up the fuel on a 93 vs a 94

in the 93 its free and on the 94 you have to buy a chip
what are the big differences between the 93 mech and 94 electric?

the injector pump is different and differnet problems occur

people think the 93 are more reliable which i guess is kinda true but a good working EFI 6.5 will give you better fuel mileage and power then any mechanical 6.5 could. keeping up with maintance and installing the right parts and you have a diesel that may not be the most powerful but is a damn good engine in terms of reliabilty and fuel mileage. it also is very durable when properly maintanied
