Question Optic sensor removal

How do you remove the optic encoder sensor? Would like to remove and clean but don't want to break it Thanks

its my understanding that after the 1 bolt comes out it just lifts up? I suspect i'll be dragging mine out in a day or 2 for inspection.

Some random optical sensor pics. going to go ahead and stick with just that one bolt then lift up.

Upon farther exploration mine help in with a big snap ring. Going to remove itt and see what happens. Josh Thank You very much for all your help I check I'm finally getting so where. Buck is all but gone just a minor surge now at 65 mph

a snap ring? be careful removing stuff in there

took mine off last night. you figured out the snap ring doesnt hold it in right?
