Default 83 6.2 Glow Plug Relay

Bought a new relay. Truck still doesn't start. If you bypass the relay it starts. Any ideas?

IIRC
There should be a temp switch on the back of the passenger side cylinder head.

It controls the relay so check it and it's wiring.
