Chevy/GMC 6.2L and 6.5L Discussion of Chevy and GMC Trucks with 6.2L and 6.5L Diesel Engines

I am changing the Vac pump on my truck, 6.5 and notice there is no bolt in the vacuum pump holding the pulley on? Is this normal, or is it missing? It doesn't make sense that a press fit pulley has no retainer bolt? Pete... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

familiar with the 6.5 and then some

Default

Normal for there to be an open hole there-the threaded hole is for the removal and install tool only-same as power steering pulley.
