Thats the concept still...been around for over a year. We're waiting to see the production version. The mirrors are a dead giveaway.

Yes it is. They unveiled it at the Detroit car show and the International car show. They've even started an ad campaign and are taking orders starting in the middle of 2008. The car goes into production late 2008 and will be available the first quarter of 09.

Look at the page better, it says right on there, Concept Vehicle...

Dodge started selling the Challenger almost 2 months ago, their already sold out in fact, and they haven't released the production version yet.

Do you really think they would put it into production with those popsicle stick mirrors?

This thread is about the Chevrolet Camaro not the Dodge Challenger. GM has already unveiled the "production" version of the car so if you don't believe GM I'm not sure you'll believe anything else. The "pop sickle stick" mirrors are retrospective of the 67-69 Camaro's that the new model is designed after.

and i want a white one with VNSH PNT on the license plates......

the new camaros will be nice but they will be just like everything else, too expensive for most people, the only way you will be able to get a fast one is if you dish out 50K..........buying V6 camaros and swapping ZR-1 and ZO6 engines into them will start quickly.....

GM is claiming that pricing on the new Camaro is going to be on par with the current Mustang so it may not be as difficult to get one as most might think.

Seen it at the Houston auto show. It's the real deal.
Way more sexy than the vette it was displayed beside.
