After having 28" of snow in December and sub zero temps last week I wake up this morning to a thunderstorm and hail storm and 53 degrees. WTF. Talk about a sloppy mess outside. Flood warnings out everywhere. This is what happens when you leave a woman in charge of the weather (Mother Nature ) Now I'll probably get struck by lightning for saying that

My inlaws came down to Texas from Wisconsin just after Christmas with their trailer and they are in New Mexico on their way to Arizona. They called yesterday and stated it was in the 70's in lower NM. My parents called yesterday from Wisconsin and booked air fare for February. They said they have been spoiled the last couple of years with no snow and now they hate it.

We had the tornado about 3 weeks ago I think that brought in wind and rain and took my barns, a few gates and portions of the fence from the livestock area. That night everything froze up solid so all the debris was frozen into the mud and stayed frozen solid for a few weeks after that. Just thawed out about 3 days ago and was so muddy you can't get to the debris without waders on and no way a tractors gettin in there. Now were expectin 2 inches of rain tonight. 4 days ago it was a low of 3 degrees and today it's in the mid 60's already and still climbin.

I'll get this mess cleaned up some day.
