Default high fuel prices... but have enough to waste

ok well this is going to be a little rant to just let you know ahead of time. well i am currently deployed to iraq for my second time and well as all of you know by now the president has called for us to pull out of iraq so we are turning everything in we can so it makes it easy on the military people than for the civilians when we leave here but thats another complaint in itself. well to turn several of the trucks we have signed for they have to be at less than a 1/4 tank of fuel and these trucks have 100 gallon tanks so i am currently letting the trucks run all night with the high idle on until they reach a 1/4 tank of fuel. wish they would send it to my house so i can use it instead of making me waste it out here like this.

Just go play with them. Then you'll feel as if it wasn't as much of a waste cuz you got to have some fun.

The amount of fuel used by military operations is staggering - hundreds of millions of gallons A DAY.

Not to trivialize your few hundred or so, but that's not enough to even fill the re-fueling lines going to a ship.

How many trucks are there? If you sum them up and gave it to me, it might last me a year! That's a waste of good diesel fuel.
