Yeah... I still don't get it. A pistol with a watch around it and what looks like maybe a utility knife in the trigger guard. Please explain.

Don't read into it...it's just a picture...nothing more nothing less...every now and then on a gun forum I belong to it comes up about a picture of your watch...and of course a gun is normally pictured...

It's a S&W 9mm with the extended/threaded barrel for a silencer..knife is a Spyderco Endura in that nuclear green color with the emerson wave feature...it's a one run thnig for a different forum I'm on...sort of a customized stock production knife...

The watch is a Marathon TSR with a Maratac Zulu band with MOD/NATO twin gray regimental stripes from James Bond Goldfinger and Thunderball movies.....

Nope, not at all.....under life and death stress it's quite heavily documented even the most experienced shooters can and do miss the thumb safety...

Now having said that I do carry my 1911 in condition 1, but practice with the thumb safety as well as what happens if/when I miss it....
