Rem 700 .243, I have a Rem 700 7mm mag too but it is over kill. My Winchester 94 30-30 makes a nice brush gun.

It depends on my mood I guess. scoped Remington 7400 in 30.06, scoped Browning Safari in 7mm Rem Mag, or a non-scoped Savage Model 99 in .308 Winchester.

Hand me downs are nice.

AR-15 with hot rounds and a MP-5 with shockers. OH DAMN, you said DEER rifle. Sorry, that's what I used when we were hunting Iraqi's.

My new fav is the Benelli R1 .30-06. Love that weapon.
