this is kind of a cool website. you pop your zip in and it gives you all the demographics for you zip. plus you can compare with others.

i spent 3 fun-filled months in detroit when i was about 10. thank god my parents had the sense to get us out of there!! i've never lived in a place like this. i was in a fight with somebody every single day. it was ridiculous and we were in one of the supposed "nice neighborhoods" with "good schools". i don't think that's possible in detroilet.
