bridge collapse
i'm sure you've all heard by now about the 35W bridge collapse here in minneapolis. it's a tough day for a lot of people. we have a lot of wonderful people here and i'm sure i didn't need to ask, but if you could all just take a second and say a little something for the people and their families involed in this it would be a great help.
here's a link to one of the local stations.

i know several people that cross this bridge on a daily basis. my wife and i used to cross this bridge daily. it's one of those things you always think about but never expect will happen. so far my friends and family are all unharmed and accounted for.

So, this bridge actually collapsed? Like, with cars on it? How big was the bridge?

it happened about 6:05 pm. estimates are 100 vehicles went down with around 50 actually going into the water. this bridge was 4 lanes wide and spanned the mississippi river. i believe it was about a 60-70 foot drop. not sure on length. heard between 450 and 1000 feet.

Good to hear you and yours are OK.
I've been watching it most of the day,I have been hoping they would find some the ones that are missing.
Another sad day for AMERICA.
Prayers from here for them!!!
