Has anyone seen or heard of this kind of a swap?

I've seen 70's Fords put on late 80's Ford diesel frames. They look pretty hokey to me.

I think I saw something like that once in Truckin' magazine...that must have been like 10 years ago. It was a SWEET truck though. An Orange '72 C30 put on a late 90's 3500 crew cab frame. The cab was converted to a crew cab and the box was a modified short box with dually flares. It was a sweet truck...running a 427 V8 with Alcoa rims...one of my all time faves from that magazine. So basically....yeah it can be done!

anything can be done just a matter of how much work you wanna do and how much money you have to throw at it.
