Default Mac Or PC?

Thinking about getting a mac. So how many of you run one? Should I stick with my PC or will I be able to adapt? I havent had a chance to play with one that much, but I really want to be one of the cool mac guys, not one of the fat loser pc guy (like the commercial)lol

I switched to the Mac in '01 when I bought my laptop. I loved it so much that when it was time to get a new desktop, I had to get an iMac. I just bought a new MacBook Pro a couple of months ago, and I hardly use the iMac now. I still have a few things that I use it for, but I'm sitting in my recliner listening to iTunes as I write this. Plus, if you need to run Windows, you can on the Macs. There are a couple of different ways to do it, but I'm not the one to ask about that.

By the way, I might be interested in selling my old PowerBook. It was still going strong when I bought the MacBook Pro. If you are interested, PM me and I'll give you the specs, it's condition, and what's included. I still haven't decided to sell it yet, but I guess if the money is right, I could be persuaded.

Well the thing is OS X and Windows are slowly, yet steadily moving closer and closer together in my humble opinion. On the newer macs you can run 64 byte Windows! The biggest thing is cost, Macs are more expensive but OS x is more trouble free than Vista. I have owned both and really the feel almost the same to me. Baring that OS 11, Leopard I think is the name of it, is not a bomb I think my next machine mmmaaaayyyybbbee a Mac. But it is the not the old days of Win95 vs. OS 8 anymore they are much closer now. Personally I am just not a fan of Vista. So I guess is a VERY roundabout way I am saying give the Mac a try.

Ok, I said Mac for the next one, but the old PC finally bit the big bullet, and I needed another for work/school. I found one that was twice as fast as the old laptop for 1/4 of what I paid for the old one when it was new. Can't beat twice the performance for less than 1/4 the cost.

I use all PC at both home and office, but at my old job we had Mac. Mac will get fewer viruses and you can get almost all of the same programs for a Mac as a PC. The only reason that I have not switched to Mac is that I just bought a new laptop a little over a year ago and it is still fine, no point in upgrading yet.
