This is some interesting reading along with some pretty awesome pictures.......and just think, this only happened 23 years ago and it looks like this......it goes to show that we can only keep mother nature at bay, we can never stop her......another 40 years and there wont be much of anything left.....

Right on, this is really cool stuff. I also viewed her site on the WW2 battles that went on in her region (Serpents Wall Home Page).

Very cool find. That kind of stuff has always fascinated me. I was surprised at how far "behind" that area was at the time. A lot of the pictures showed scenes I'd associate with the WW-II era (like the metal pedal-car), not 1986.
