Default Cinderblock houses

Anybody have a cinderblock house? What's the downside to having a cinderblock house?

Mine is cinderblock, and I like it. It's solid.

I lived in a duplex that was cinder block, and it was a freezing cold place. They didn't pour forms to save a persons life around here and the walls ended up with cracks, big enough to drive a dump truck through.

It's hard to hang a picture without a drill.

Mine doesn't have insulation... When mine heats up, it stays hot... same with the cold weather. It's quiet, no termites.

I wish they would have filled the blocks with cement, instead of just butter and stack them.
