Default What's a Good Pressure Washer?

Wondering what a good pressure washer would be for around the house. Karcher has some lower end models that look 90% plastic, but I'm not sure how well they hold up. I don't like paying $5-6 everytime I clean my truck only to have it dirty again 48hrs later, and I could always use a pressure washer around the house. I'm not looking for anything too big, <2000psi would probably be adequate. Any ideas?

Honda power.
Cat pump.

A soft, pliable hose with QD tips.

It's all about the pump. Not so much brand or motor. But that honda is hard to beat. I have 2 one is the honda the other is a briggs. Same pumps. I can run the honda all day and no problems. The briggs after about 15-20 mins of spraying I have to move the washer because it likes to walk. The honda is much smoother running.

I have a easy-clean 3000psi honda 13hp,diesel fired hot water and I love it ,the hot water makes all the difference in the world ,wash trucks all day and only stop for a gas refill ,strip paint from frames of my big trucks and even peeled a piece of chrome off the mirror on the old 92 dodge, this is too much machine for around the house use

My truck must not get dirty enough ... I just use a bucket and a hose to wash my truck. Probably all of a nickles worth of soap and 25 cents worth of water. A couple of micro rags to dry it so it doesn't spot.

If you ever come up north, you'll see what I'm talking about. It's hell up here. (or probably anywhere where there's salt on the roads). And here it alternates between hard cold snow and melting slush every 48hrs, it's nasty, and I've looked a couple of times only to see that the lower band on my truck the muck has still stuck to even after going over with a pressure washer twice; once with soap and twice to rinse.
