Hey I was wondering if anyone on here is from or living in central Oregon? I am thinking about moving up there well in about a year when my contract with the military is up. My grandparents live up there alone and they are getting a little too old to take care of their house and stuff so I want to be close to them to help them out. Is there much work up there? well thank you for the time

Bend is growing.

The median house price is like close to $400k. My brother lives north outside of Redmond. I'm not sure how the job market is, my bro has no shortage of work. Construction is everywhere when I visit. People who work at Mt. Bachelor in the winter and are river guides in the summer have a hard time tween seasons.

 

cool construction is good. Well I would prefer to be north of redmond but like you said not sure about the job stuff. My grandparents live just north of Madras so I want to be close enough that at any given time I can be there for them.
