Sounds like it infected the system 32 files which equals a Windows reinstall. System Restore will not even come close to working either. Give Ad-Aware a shot and see if it finds anything. -

that's your first problem. Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari are light years ahead of IE in stability, speed and most of all security. I haven't had a single 'net related problem since I haven't been using IE and have had Windows Defender, Spyware Blaster and AdAware. -
