to me id go with ps3, what about you guys, i know with the ps3 you dont have to have any memberships or anything to get online, no dvd remotes... none of that..better grafix all that good stuff....id go with ps3, what about you guys?

 

I want a PS3 simply because I have a bunch of PS2 games and I can still play them. The WII is pretty slick though.

 

I had a 360 and a PS3 and I would say they are both about the same. If you have a big TV and like to watch clear movies than get the PS3 for the Blu Ray movies because they are very clear.

 

Ive got the Xbox360 and I am very happy with it. Awsome selection of Games.

 

I've got both the PS3 and 360. I use the PS3 more due to the blu-ray player, and I think it is faster than the 360.

 

My kid has the 360 and loves it. I think i'll get the PS3 just for the blue ray. Those blue ray payers are the same cost as a PS3.

 

Wrong...BluRay players have dropped to 299.99 for the base model. To play the PS2 games you must find the old 80Gig hard drive version, or the metal gear solid version. The rest don't play PS2 games. You also need a BluRay remote. But after saying all of this, I'd still get the PS3 as it is the BEST BluRay player out there on the market.

 

Can't you still use the controller to control the blu-ray player? I thought I watched my first few movies that way.

Yea you can use the controller, it's just not straightforward like the remote is. 25 bucks for the remote, go ahead...splurge.

 

nice because ive been thinking about getting the ps3 or xbox....im leaning towards the ps3 and yea i like watching movies alot, so big tv is a must....plus i have a sound system thats around 1000 watts :-D
