Default South Texas Fleas

Hello,

I have an long haired harlequin Australian Shepherd. I use Frontline Plus spot treatment for fleas and ticks.

I apply it on the 4th of every month. It has worked until the past couple of weeks. My dog has fleas.

Before I never saw any fleas on him. Now, the poor guy has some fleas. What do you guys use to get rid of fleas.

Are there any home remedies or is another spot treatment better than Frontline Plus? I have heard that apple cider vinegar works to rid a dog of fleas.

I thank you and so will Milo.

Yep, sounds like you have an infestation in the yard, house and probably his bed/kennel. You gotta knock all those down too. Also, if you have rodents, they'll bring in fress batches every day too. Gotta get rid of those as well.

My dad thinks it's the squirrels. The pecan trees started dropping nuts. The squirrels started showing up.
