1st stop was way out in the middle of nowhere & named Split Rock as it sat on the Oregon trail and was a landmark the settlers could see for days. Was also a pony express sation.

Heck if I know, there are 4 arches in the town square each one made up of antlers:

 

dang..... that is alot of backstrap them antlers came from.....

 

& to think they all came from Elk
