Default How NOT to float ATV's

Well we had a family get together here at my house yesterday, and Ive got a shallow pond out front of the house.. its a lil over waist deep in the middle. Well my lil brother in law, and his cousin, and one of their buddies was over. They asked me if they could take 2 of my ATV's thru the pond. I agreed, with the exception that THEY would have to do the wrenching on them to dry out the belt housings since neither of these two 4 wheelers has a snorkel. Heres some pics and video that I thought would be fun to share with everyone.

After the fun, they boys pulled the belt housing covers off, and completely dried them out.. I think Im gonna put snorkels on both of these ATV's soon so I dont have to worry about this anymore..

ps- i might or might not have had about 1/2 a bottle of crown ingested at the time I decided to "attempt" to operate the video camera.. lmao

Looks like a blast.

How do you like your Arctic Cat? The BIL and FIL have them and haven't really had any trouble. I know they're a ton better then they used to be though.

Gonna be getting a 2 seater next year and they're getting looked at.

looks like fun. Smells like fun. Sounds like fun. Even tastes like fun. But it's NOT fun to fix'em all over again. But if it floats your boat... Oh I'm sorry If it floats YOUR ATV then by all means do it
