We got a dog thread so I figured I'd start a cat thread-

(Left) Me and Axle- We got him a couple weeks ago. This was his first night home. We weren't going to "replace" Ivory but my friend's neighbors abandoned their house and left 4 kittens inside. I'm a sucker for a stray so home he came. He was laying on the pillow here so he could look out and keep an eye out for the dogs, now he cuddles with them.

(Middle) Leola. She was a "replacement" for Norman. We weren't going to get another cat after he died in 2004 but she was given to us by a family member that was trying to be nice. We're glad we have her. She's always doing something entertaining.

(Right) Ivory- Died 7/1/2008. I bought her for my wife about a month before we got engaged in 1996. She was our first and we really miss her.

I don't have any pic of Norman. We got the camera a year after we lost him. -

this is Kitty. i got her for my wife right after we got married but moved about a year after we got married and couldn't have a cat where we were at. so we gave her to a friend of ours. she is still going good livin the life out in the country.... she brings like a mouse a week to their back door.... they have fields all around their place.... -

i wish i had a picture of Puss.....and Puss II.......and Puss III.....

first Puss was mean SOB......flat out......almost blinded the neighbors boxer, killed pretty much all male cats in the neighborhood, and impregnated the females, he came home one day with teeth marks o nthe top and botton of his head where something had Puss's head in its mouth, if he got into a bad fight he would come home and bleed all over the carpet til he got better (i still got the stains).......and would teabag the back of your head while you slept on the couch.......laying there half asleep and feel something fuzzy and round rubbing againt the back of your head......he never ate off a plate cause he got flung across the room once for doing it.......him and my dad had a mutual respect after that.......if my dad got a cut or something on his arm the dang cat would lick it clean.......puss just showed up one day......and one day he just didnt come home......which was absolutely no surprise.......oh and you didnt mess with him either........TRUST ME........


Puss II came from a guy that we was doing service on his hot tub and he hated him so we took him and he was a pretty good cat except he slept 3 inches from your face.....literally.....3 inches......you would wake up and there was these 2 big glowing eyes staring at you.......it was like he was plotting something.......i think the neighbor poisioned him cause he came home one day and was sick and never acted right......then just wandered off to die......


Puss III is our newest cat and its a female, she is getting ready to have kittens........



and yes....all 3 cats have all had the same name..... -
