Default Spare Fuel Cans

Hello,

Since our local Bio-Diesel plant is back up and operational, instead of driving to the plant each time to top off my tank to the Bxx level that I want... I want to buy (4) 5 gallon cans to stock up the B100 in the garage. (And top off after I fill up with petrol-diesel)

Is there anything to look out for in diesel fuel cans. I looked at northern tool and they had some that were $20, but they didn't have a flip cap like I'm used to relieve pressure or breathe when pouring.

What happens if I leave them in the sun? (Assuming they don't get stolen.) Doesn't diesel/bio-diesel expand with the heat? Where can I find cheap fuel cans to store in the garage?

Thanks -

The only one's that won't smell are the metal cans that are used in industry. And only while they are newer, once the seal is a few years old and decomposing it starts to let the smell out. The big PITA is pouring the fuel out though. Here is one, not diesel rated though.

Look for the OSHA approved type cans we use in construction. -
