Default Just Had To Laugh...

Finishing this Home Depot, and the store manager has been a real pain to deal with. I don't think she has ever been involved in anything to do with construction...

Anyway, she came up to me a few minutes ago... "We have had a tragedy" OK, I am thinking someone got hurt or something so I follow her across the store...

One of there forklift operators came thru an automatic door... and when I say came thru, I mean the door and glass and panels are DESTROYED! As soon as I came around the corner I could not contain myself and started laughing...

So now she is kissing my butt... I love Karma sometimes.

Manager? WTF does a store manager have to do with the construction of a store? The store belongs to the contractor until he signs it over to the owners. I'd tell the manager and employees to get the heck out of the way before they get hurt.

Once 90% of the work is complete, most retail stores go into a Possession situation. They are in the store, stocking, racking and training while we finish all the stuff that has to happen as they move it... Not fun, but not bad... this manager is just a PIA!

LOL...It is differant with differant owners and sites, typical HD is a 20 week schedule, Lowes is 20-24 weeks, WM is closer to 30weeks depending on the site...
