Local gun shop has sold several dozen over the years for around $2800.00 and has had very good reviews of them. Recoil has been reported as around a .270 win. -

HI dieseldude03, I have never fired the ARMALITE, But I have heard that they don't kick much !!! -

I think a .50cal would be cool, but I have no need for one. I've handled several different makes and models and I really like the AR-50. It's dead simple, built like a truck axle (and weighs about as much also) and near all of them are reported to be sub-moa accurate at 1000 yds with tailored ammo. Yea it's "only" a single-shot, but how many do you really need, especially at $5-$10 a pop for the really good stuff? -

If you own a 50 BMG, you have to reload your own ammo !!! -

Not a problem. Been rolling my own since I was 16! -
