Photoshop CS Tutorial - Changing your Rims and Truck color

1.Open all the photos you plan to use in your chop.

2.Click on the Elliptical Marquee Tool. Set the style to Fixed Ratio W=1 H=1

3.Make a circle around the rim. Then right click on mouse and select Transform Selection.

4.Size the selection to fit around the rim. Then right click select Layer via copy.

5.Drag and drop the rim onto the photo with your truck.

6.Resize the rim so it fits on the truck.

7.Duplicate the rim and move it to the back tire. Since the tire is at a bit of an angel you'll have to use distort to make it fit. Just line it up with the original rim and that's it for the rims.

8.To change the color of the truck click on the Magic wand and make sure you style for the wand the same as mine in the pic.

9.Select all the red that you can then use one of the lasso tools to add and remove missed spots.

10.After you get all the red selected Right click and select Layer Via copy.

11.Then select the Hue & Saturation tool.

12.Move the sliders around untill you get the color you want then click OK.

13.Flatten your image and your done!

    cool deal i have Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and was able to do this in there with these instructions

    Awesome write up! Im sure this will spark many imaginations ! The possibilities are endless with doing mods to your vehicle through photoshop.
