This is my first blog entry.
Why is it that a person like myself who is 30 years old and no diploma has to constantly bust his ass to get anywhere in life? Weather it be for some small company who likes the way you work and tells you his dreams for you in his company so you work 10 times harder just to help them come true. Just to find out that he is going to hire one of there relitives (who have had every priveligde with out working for it) into the position that was promised to you.
this has happened to me to many fricken time and i am sick of it. I may not have the education but i learn on the joband i learn damn fast. i always am the first there in the morning and am always asking for OT if there is any. I know i have helped to make these asshole richer and all i am asking for is a little respect.
which i get until some F**K BALL relitive starts to feel threatened by my presence and makes it impossible for me to be happy doing the job that i so loved to do because it was fun.
I have busted my butt at this company for over 2 years i went from knowing nothing about trailers to being called on of the best in the bussiness by manufacturers and customers alike. i beat out the only compition ( who is related to the owner) because i "know my s**t" but now the owner is on holidays and is unable to be reached. and this F**K BALL is sabatoging me in every way shape and form, making me look like a fool to my customers because i can't make the deadlines the set out for me.
Because of this asshole my monthly gross went from 75k-100k down to maybe 40k.
AND I LOOK LIKE THE CLOWN BECAUSE OF IT.
i cant fire the prick cuz he has been there longer and i know that blood will always overcome an outsider.
I AM F**KED NO MATER WHAT.
ANY SUGESTIONS????

wow bad situation , i say you have the know how and you know the connections ,
Start your own business you can get grants from the government they will give you a few years to try it out if you cant make it then its clean slate baby!

there is really only one option for me and that is to move to another company and start at the botom again.
the bonus is that my reputation may help me into a better than entry level position.
