I keep shortening mine to be able to get them around construction sites but there are a few of the boys around here trying to be super truckers with long wheelbase trucks that I get a laugh at
when running by the ton they are making there 100 point turns and I just cut it around and go by them some days it makes for a extra load or two and they can't scale there weight because they can't get anything on there front axles where if I'm not careful I can put mine over

How do you go about stretching a frame exactly?? Can you even do it with the tempered steel?? What year was it that PACCAR went to doing the heat treatment??

I think you just buy the C channel frame rail and bolt on the splice pieces. then ofcourse have to get your drive lines, air lines, electrical lines..... you know all that stuff stretched as well.
