Anyone can get a CDL anymore. I seen a swift driver try to cross a covered bridge near ny home. The bridge is 11'6" and a weight limet of 10 tons, he was driving a condo sleeper and smashed the bridge roof about the first 4'

I completely agree with that! These truck driving schools, companies will train any monkey! Next time you pass a truck, take a look in the drivers seat. You remember the dorks in school who use to get there back sides kicked all the time, there they are!

Yeah, we're not all stupid, but there's a whole lot of them. One of my favorite things to do on the road is pull in a truck stop and watch people tryin to back into parking spots. That's good entertainment right there. I'll bet you this guy was on the telephone. Any takers?

WTF
There r a lot of retards out there. I have to deal with the cream of the crop when im working at willow run. They do CDL training. I feel sorry for these guys that get their CDL's and get jipped on their training. Im not going into details, but I got my class A from where I work now, n looking back on how much they didnt teach me.......... WTF?!
That guy however, just plumb did NOT pay attention what so ever.
Not to "toot" my own horn, but I have never hit anything, came close, but not because I wasent paying attention, I take pride in driving a tractor trailer.

Yeah, I take pride in bein one of the best. I've never hit anything either. Those truck drivin schools don't teach much of anything as far as I can tell. I think they just take their money and ride'em around a lil' bit. Has anybody ever been to truck driving school that can tell us what they do teach in their.

I knew a few guys that went to a school in WI and it was a joke. Not that I'm a very knowledgeable truck driver, but I was a better driver just from what I leaned growing up on a farm. They learned the CDL book, how to past the tests, and how to run through the gears up and down driving from off ramp to off ramp on the hwy. None of them could back straight down the road let alone into a bay.
