Rounds 8 and 9 of the Delphi British Truck Racing Championship took place at Donington Park at the end of July. The eventful weekend saw several spectacular incidents with Ben Horne and Brian Burt, Elton Boocock and Steven Powell, and Chris Levett and Mat Summerfield all coming together during the day.

Championship leader and reigning champion Stuart Oliver fought off Chris Levett to win two more races in Class A and in Class B, David Jenkins and Cees Zandburgen both took one win each. There was even a new truck on the track, the number 19 Volvo FM12, driven by Paul McCumisky and sponsored by Swadlincote Diesel, a Common Rail repair workshop, and a member of Delphi’s specialist diesel network.
