That's where I hung mine as well. I'd like to see the bracket you used to hang it. I made one but flipped the darn thing up instead of down. Weight distribution's not as good I don't believe, although it's holding. And when the hood is shut, the top of the unit is nested in the insulation on the underside of the hood. Too close -

Thanks guys, I do have a couple more of the install- I will post them up here. I will take a close up of the bracket. I think if it was inverted, it would have way less support, not to mentionb the fittings would be on the bottom. Then changing it you would dump oil over everything.
Dr. Evil...crap! I will call you today. How were they last night? -

I meant the bracket that I made to mount the unit onto. It's a 90 degree angle iron and I pointed it up instead of down.
If I ever find that camera, I'll get pics on here.

If any of you are thinking of doing this, it is not necessary to get the brass valve IF you get the billet cap. You can take the sample from the billet cap while it is running. -

Very nice.. I am too poor at the moment to spend the $$ on the kit, and I get it at dealer cost LOL...

Thanks for bringing this back up Scott. Apparently I forgot to post my pics here.
Am having trouble getting them to load as attachments, so had to use a URL link. They are small, but you can go to this link if you want to view a larger image: http://www.thesuperiorsynthetic.com/Picture_Page.php Sorry.

So, can this take the place of the stock oil filter ?? (some guys with twins have to take the battery out to change oil ).

Heath, can you PM me a price?

Thanks. -

The BMK-11 kit still utilizes the factory filter location for the full flow filter. The BMK-15ea kit (which is what I have) is a dual remote mount kit that relocates both the full flow and bypass filters.

With twins I would get the BMK-15. That way you can relocate them to the frame where they will be WAY easier to change. -
