Amsoil Visit - Amsoil

AMSOIL !!

i am curently running aimsoil, and its time for a oil change. i dont have the money to put amsoil in it, and im tired of putting so many quarts in it between oil changes. my tuck has some oil leaks so i go through ... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

i am curently running aimsoil, and its time for a oil change. i dont have the money to put amsoil in it, and im tired of putting so many quarts in it between oil changes. my tuck has some oil leaks so i go through oil. my question is, does it hurt it to go from amsoil back rottela? -

Ya, unless money is no object, yours isn't the best scenerio for running it. My last truck was kinda the same but of course I ran it anyway.

yea i think rotella's better anyway, they put a detergent in it so it keeps everything alot cleaner. i run it in my powerstroke, the oil is actually clean like its new when you pull the dipstick out after changing it. it might actually be better. -

Yes they and all oils have some amount of detergents. I think it was interpreted that you meant amsoil didn't have any....hence the joke comment. AMSOIL is one of, if not the most fortified oil with additives, such as detergents. -

Sorry DieselDanBoy....didnt mean to make you the butt of a joke.


Rotella is good oil and theres lot of factors to consider when comparing oil - but Rotellas performance doesnt come anywhere close to Amsoil. -

haha no its ok, see im only like 17, but i am a diesel tech, i dont know everything but you would be surprised what i can do haha. honestly i really wasnt aware that all most oils have like a base detergent in them. learn something new everyday.. -
