Default New Things From AMSOIL

Just got back from the 35th anniversay convention. Quite the show they put on. Thought I would fill you in on some new things coming out. Some related to diesels, some not

For the diesels, this fall, they will have a combination of the diesel concentrate and the cold flow improver. Currently they are separate products, but those of us in the northern states will benefit from this combo.
There will be an EaA air filter(stock replacement) for the 6.7L cummins this fall as well.

The Injen air intakes...new model year fits will be coming out. Bad news is there will be no older model years being made. They will be coming out with 16 models for gassers as well.

They are finally coming out with a synthetic power steering fluid. It will be a universal fluid covering most appl. that don't use ATF.

Other new items that are now available....
10W-30 motorcycle oil, used in the newer Goldwings
a 15W-50, 10W-30, and 5W-20 Dominator racing oils

I think that covers it.

Rod, this thing has had me baffled since you mentioned it. It think I'm getting a handle on it now??
Am I correct in saying the 05 LLY has two different engines and the 8th digit in the VIN tells which one? And apparently the intake will work if that letter is a D and won't if it's not?
If that is the case, you are so right that this is not very clear at all. -

The 05 LLY has a different turbo inlet than the 06 LLY and LBZ. The 04.5 and 05 LLY's have a 2 as the 8th digit on the VIN. Their instructions say LB7. I am not sure what the 06-07's have as the 8th digit. Must be the D.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

05-07 Chevy Duramax V8 6.6L LBZ, LL
(VIN D) see 8th digit VIN
Will not fit 2004-05 LB7 (VIN 2)

Should state 06-07 LBZ, LLY
Will not fit 2004.5-05 LLY

The LB7 was the 2001-2004 series. -
