high pitched turbo wistle when gettin on the fuel

hey guys my brother in law has an 03 f 350 7.3 he wanted me to check with you guys on any ideas about the high pitched whistle he hears when hes gettin on the throttle
he sya it sounds like a air leak

could be an exhaust or boost leak
