Ive done everything on the truck myself or with the help of friends, saves a ton of money when you dont have to pay someone to do the work on your truck. For the next step I wouldnt do a torque converter, Id save up for a full built trans. You could also consider some stage 1 injectors or an intercooler -

For a full built trans Id go straight to a BTS (brians truck shop) they build the best E4OD and 4R100 transmissions hands down, they cost about 4100 -

thats what happens when you have an auto!!! LoL

i'm almost in the 14's with my 2wd 5 speed so i would assume you could get into the 14's with stage 1 injectors and tuning. of course for this stuff you need the trans, HPX line, FPR shim at the least, but electric fuel is nice, go ahead and do the 120v or 140v IDM, etc... Lol -
