hey guys just wondering what I need to do to my truck to get it to smoke more, its a 2009 6.7l cummins diesel. I wanna be cool and blow smoke like everyone else I see in my town. What do they do to there trucks to do that. I was told I need to take my fuel plate out, and gut my afc, so I looked for hours and finally found something that said fca on it, on which I do believe is the injection pump, so I pulled it off and took it apart, and gutted it out and now seems I get white smoke, but I wanted black, where is the fuel plate at. Any help please I am new to diesels.

Put a plastic bag over the air filter.

I all ready tried that and it just made the truck die, didnt get any more smoke out of it, plus I spent 3 hours trying to get all the plastic out of the filter, and finally gave up so I havent been running an air filter. Is there a special kind of bag you need to use, what do you recommend, its my fault I guess for using the cheap walmart bag, that I did. What ones are thicker to make this work better.

Just lite it on Fire! It'll smoke real good then.

i couldnt find the fuel plate, so i kinda figured they didnt, so the fca thing i gutted thats not the afc thingy you are suppose to take about and gut, like i said just gave me lots of white smoke, not really any black, i am real new to diesels so any help would be nice. Also have any of you guys tried the 300hp chips they sale on ebay, i just bought one and should have it in a few days, after that I should be like 700 hp

what kinda programmer did u buy?

this is my first diesel man, i have never had one before, my grandpa just bought it for me, I know nothing about them thats why I am posting on here trying to find out some info. i will admit I am probably not the brightest guy out there but I like to do things my self and learn.

first of all man, the p7100 injection pumps that came on the 12v's are the ones with the fuel plate an afc housing. 94 thru 98 ur is electronic. so you just went into in an started takin stuff out? wow! a chip or programmer with out tranny upgrades will prolly destroy tranny!!

it said it was suppose to have tcm tuning with the chip so the tranny will hold the added power, some mhp or h&s thing really didnt understand it. And ya thats how you learn aint it is just take stuff apart.
