| 6.7L Bombs (Aftermarket) Discussion of 6.7 Liter Dodge Cummins Diesels Related To Performance And Longevity |
So I see there has been much discussion about the EGR and DPF deletes and what not. Even a great walkthrough on how to EGR delete with pictures. I was at my local cummins shop and their lead tech came out and talked with me ... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

So I see there has been much discussion about the EGR and DPF deletes and what not. Even a great walkthrough on how to EGR delete with pictures.
I was at my local cummins shop and their lead tech came out and talked with me and said that personally because my truck is out of warranty that I should get a dpf and egr delete and just say **** the emissions system its causing more problems than its worth. My question is; whats the cheapest way and method of doing an EGR & DPF delete. I'm trying to determine what all I would need in way of expense to do this for mileage and longevity of the vehicle. I know you need a programmer didn't know if I would have to buy one right out or if I could find someone who would be able to just program it for me and be done with it. Any help would be appreciated thanks guys. Dan |

prob give ya a call tomorrow, Im not looking at massive gains or needing a lot of performance increase however I would like to get better MPG and prolong the life of my engine
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- I heard somewhere that You can just weld the egr butterfly shut and use smarty to remove it and then it will appear like its stock to pass inspection. While for the DPF and NOX you can just bore em out 4" style and be done with it (with smarty of course) Last edited by DanS; 08-11-2009 at 09:27 AM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |
