I have a 2007 mega cab long bed with 77779 miles on it. I do have the H&S Hot 175 installed with the tranny tune installed as well. I do not drive the truck hard or tow hard. The short story is at 32000 miles the stealership flashed my tranny because of a hard down shift. Truck was fine until a couple of months ago/installed tranny tune. Now at the mileage listed currently above and the the tranny tune installed in aug of 2010 I have had my tranny at a stop light (or coming down on a down shift) show on the H&S Black Mzx it is in D1. The truck shows is is in D4. Not Good to say the least. The truck is stuck in limp mode according to H&S, thank you for your opinion. If i shut the truck off and restart, everything is back to normal. I can't find a code and I don't want to try and drive my truck to a code reader stuck in fourth. I was told by the the dodge mechanic at 32000 if the flash he put he put in did not fix the truck, we may need to put in a new module do to heat from exhaust temps. H&S recommendation, I return the truck to stock and redownload everything. H&S asked me to go to stock on the tranny but I did not to observe. It has been two days since and it did it again. I am more than willing to return the tranny to stock, BUT the trannny shows NO signs of being hurt. Shift points are execellent, tork and power, etc. To reiterate, It does this once again coming to a stop sign. It's like you don't know when it is coming until you go to take off. I appreciate your reading and thoughts in advance. I do plan to return the tranny to stock tomorrow, but i will miss what H&S did for the shift points. I guess I am hoping for a module or something simple!
