I did not want to plug my rail, No way no how. Way to easy to break some expensive parts.....But after talking to h&s and other members/vendors once the rail is shimmed it mighht as well be plugged. By the time a shimmed valve pops the damagae has already been done.

This is my reasoning for plugging the rail....it helps me sleep at night

Can anyone shed some more light on this for me? Like pics of whats being shimmed and why? Sounds like a simple stupid fix, but I am lost in translation as a newb.

Here is the how to video.

It's located at the front of the fuel rail behind the intake horn

It only needs to be shimmed if it bleeds off fuel pressure because some programmers will increase rail pressure enough to pop valve.
High rail pressure + popped valve= no power

Some ppl have to shim. Some don't

Whats the tell tale sign if you have popped the valve? Fuel pressure reading on a gauge? Or??

Thanks for the video.
