Default Egr Delete Question

I am waiting for my Smarty67Jr Me that is in the mail. Everyone told me that the Smarty will turn off the egr. My question is can I remove the egr with my Smarty. I can do the Dpf delete with no problem but the Smarty has me not feeling easy. I am low tech!

You will be fine with the smarty if you have the ME programing. You can do the egr/cooler delete, you will need a kit or make your own block off plates. I uased a sinister egr/cooler delete and I have the smarty j67 with ME ans everything works great no codes and no defuel. I also have the dpf deleted.

Use the sinister egr/cooler w/bypass delete, if egr is shut off you can take it out.

I used the GDP one it just is a elbo and filter w/clamps, also has a plug to cover where ccv went into turbo. I used it instead of just a hose that drained on the ground, didn't want oil on my driveway.
