Hello fellas, 1st post on here and hope y'all can help. It started a few months ago. Started noticing a rattle or chatter sound only under throttle. Mostly between 2200 & 3000 rpm's. Most mornings its quiet for the 1st 15-20min then it starts. I can't tell if its coming from the motor or trans but its on the passanger side or at least that's where it sounds like its coming from. I don't know where to start to find out what it is. It has a shhhh sound instead of a clean whistle and sounds like timing rattle but I only run the 60HP tune and keep the MP8 at 0%. I've even went to stock HP with no change. I'm thinking maybe the turbo is heading south but no codes, or could be the valves and/or push rods could be worn. Not sure about the trans, it is extremely hard to get in gear but fine other than that. Hydros were upgraded but I'm on my 2nd 3250. 128k miles on the truck, deleted at 55k, clutch soon after, head work and studs at 107k, removed egr valve and cooler at 110k, 2nd 3250 at 112k and open breather and new ccv filter last week. Sorry for the long post, just want to give as much info as I can. Please any ideas what it could be or what to check. thanks in advance.
Today I noticed white smoke from the exhaust, very little and didn't last long. So now I'm pretty sure its the injectors and not what I had thought like in my 1st post, not the flux compacitor like the drunk A-hole said either. But I was thinking Dodge used piezo injectors at the factory but after looking all I could find was Bosch. Am I wrong about the injectors or what am I missing?
