Default mega cab with 8' bed

so ive found the company in Utah that will extend the frame and put 8 food bed on mega im really interested does anybody did that or know someone my concern is the ride quality not so much towing most i tow is about 9 to 11k

I don't see where extending the frame is gonna hurt the ride quality, seems like the longer the wheel base the better the ride and handling. I'd love to have a mega with an 8 foot bed

Id like to put a 8ft box on my truck... More room, storage.. etc.. I'm.not the biggest fan of my shortbox anymore

I have rode in one. I almost bought one, but things didn't quite work out. If the shop does a good job with alignment you'll never know it wasn't straight from the factory.

If anything it will ride smoother being the added weight think about it rides smooth with a trailer it might only be 2-500 extra pounds but its still more on the suspension which should smooth it out a little more

That is my thoughts on the subject. I know from my short bed to my old man's long bed his rides a lot better.

I have a 2007 5.9 mega cab w/ the 8' bed and the ride is better than original. I love have a normal sized bed!

In Theroy it should be is yours dually my uncle has an 07 dually how much and who did it ( maybe I could do it for his b-day )

The guys in Utah at Precision Bodyline stretched mine. Mine is 3500 single wheel. The stretch was 5500 and that included the new bed.
