Default Ds4 to db2 questions

Im sure it's been covered before but I can't seem to find much online. I bought a db2 4126 off of an 84 sub non egr 6.2 for 80$. I couldnt pass up a cheap pump. Anyways, will the db2 flow enough fuel for my 94 1/2 ton 6.5td? It came with injection lines and everything. If I can't turn it up enough can I have it modified to flow more?

Should, but keep in mind I'm a DB4 guy. DB2's came OE on the 93 TD's although you've got an older model DB2 there. 4911 was the 6.5 pump IIRC.

Bobby martin over on TTS has a conversion manual PDF you can download. At least he used to....

I did download his guide and it has a lot of useful information. Ive been trying to find fuel specs for the 4126 but nothing so far. Prolly just gonna install and crank the fuel screw and see how it runs. Do the studs on the back of the pump have the same thread pattern ( pump side) as a ds4? I know the lines are different but I didn't know if the stud thread pattern was te same

I'm going to say it will bolt up, but that's just and educated guess.

Don't quote me on it.

That's also a pretty old pump....

Well I know it's gonna bolt up I was just wondering about the lines. From what I've read they are different lengths and the fitting on the pump side is different from a 6.5

Pump side fittings are different from 6.5 lines.

Not sure on the length thing...I'm gonna guess they're the same...

Funny that I get the notification of your reply after I put everything back together. Is there any pictures in particular you are wanting to see or just of the process in general? I couldn't get it to start so I may be swapping the ds4 back in for the time being until I can get this db2 to a shop to see what's the matter with it. (fuel to pump, solenoid on, no fuel to injectors)

I pulled the db2 back off and it's making a strange clicking sound an it turns really easily. My ds4 is pretty much silent when you turn it and it has some resistance. Any thoughts? Also, I took some pictures of each step of taking the pump back off if anyone needed them.
