no and no. but exhaust manifolds off a 6.5 will bolt right up to a 6.2. by the way your engine might need a little work before it can safely take boost from two turbos

well thanks i was just wondering because i've read a few places where 6.2s are compatable with some sbc parts like all transmissions and bellhousings as well as a few other things that i cant remember at the moment. i was just wondering cause i found a twin turbo setup or a sbc for realllllllly cheap. and also what all would you have to do to turbo a 6.2?

well i dont know what happened with ic smoke but honestly the exhaust manifolds off a 6.5 should fit. people do this all the time. there is a company out there that sells reman 6.2 engine blocks equipped with all the hardware off a 6.5 so that they are turbocharged using stock 6.5 parts.

6.2 will fit into sbc trannys and engine compartments. thats pretty much what they have in common. all you need to do to turbo your 6.2 is to get exhaust manifolds from a 6.5, crossover pipe, and you need to tap a oil line for the turbo. thats about it. also you need to turn up the pump a little bit so the turbo can have a little more exhaust to spool off of

Aside from that Frankenstein kind of ugly looking (little of this added to that) set up does it run well, are those GM-8, I think what Woody was saying was as a bolt on it's a no go, with enough determination & creativity anything is doable, looks like that pic is in its testing phase if it goes rite ought to be a runner

A buddy of mine is running twin turboed at Bonneville 158 mph was peak mph there before he had to shut it down, official fastest record for the 6.5 set by him is 153 mph, more to come next year I'm told, but not your average 6.2 either it a combination of 6.2 & 6.5 parts

Not my truck a friend of mines, it does look a bit ratty cause he just kinda had the stuff laying around and got bored. The turbos are off of Mercedes diesels, and from what he says it is quite the runner.
