Boy this is going to be good.....

I'm going to be using the GOGO Diesel manifold myself when I swap my oil cooler. I prefer the removal of the coolant channel and routing it directly back to the bottle. Since there no clamps for the hose there shouldn't ever be a leak issue. IF you need to run the EGR valve for a visual inspection you can have your EGR valve in place and not worry about operation. Cost is worth the extras to me.

I feel that all the kits available are quality kits just some have more thought put into the design. Some will let their pocketbook decide, others will decide based upon an educated decision.

Gogo's kit is probably the best one out there.

What past experience do you have turning wrenches? I'm going to swap my oil cooler and manifold soon.

For those of you who do not want to DELETE your kit, Bulletproof Diesel has an outstanding upgraded cooler kit that includes Egr Cooler, Oil cooler, and all gaskets. We recently added them to our vendor list and have had a great response to them. If anyone wants some more info just shoot me a PM.

If your short on cash, you can always just go get a couple freeze plugs and weld the cooler up. That way no exhaust enters, its still there for emissions (if they dug that deep), and even if its leaking it cant go anywhere. Not the best way to fix it but it works. I might go with the gogo stage one intake when i do studs, and other goodies.

There's a million ways to do this, and a million different "kits" to accomodate every way. I think the River City Diesel is a nice inexpensive setup. I think FCDP has a very nice setup, but you cant return to stock unless you buy a new intake manifold (which is still OK for some people), and GOGO's setup is pretty trick too, but a lot of $$$.

I will probably either make my own or go with the RCD one myself, but it's all preference. Each has their plus' and negatives.
