I had no problem with it rubbing on the firewall. Putting the downpipe in is easier with two people.

Installed the new MBRP exhaust that I got here from the DB and MBRP giveaway last month. No disrespect to Bigangryhillbilly;(as I do respect your opinions and valuable input), but I did remove the cross-member trying to save the original . Why ;I'm not sure as I have no plans of ever putting it back on. However even with the cross-member out of the way the downpipe still would not come out. I had to resort to the sawzall. I believe that if you have a lift available to you it would have fell right out. However I'm more of what You would consider a shadetree, or creeper mechanic with out a lift . So with that being said in this case I'm going to have to agree SAWZALLS RULE.

Pics of the old cut up exhaust? Just kidding. It was raining and miserable out when I finished installing it today.

I have a four inch Magnaflow and it took less than thirty minutes to put the whole exaust on. Ive taken the 4" down pipe in and out a couple of times, no problem. The Magnaflow down pipe has a small flat spot in it where your up pipe is so it fits good..
