Some guys are working on it. They were for the VE that they used in the VW diesels. The spring mount is a little different but guys are working on it. I would love to get my hands on a VW VE pump.

The 5000 RPM VE pumps used plungers half the size as our VE pumps; they went faster but moved a lot less fuel.

For a 2nd gen 12 valve there are alot of places that can get you a spring. For those of us with 1st gen's you have to pretty much get it from Bosch.

I have a question what is the safest rpm to wrap a first gen up to with a factory motor? At what rpm do I need to get new valve springs?

In all reality all you need is the 3200 spring. Teh VE does not make any real power over that. Anything over that and you should look at 60# Valve springs. And I would not spin the stock internals more then 4k.
