Default auto to 6speed conversion

I have a 2004 cummins with a 48re transmission and when im done with collage in about 3 weeks i am going to convert it to a 6 speed as a little present to my self...ive done auto to nv4500 swaps plenty of times but never 6 speed with all the electronics on a commonrail....i was wanting some advice on what all i will need to make it work and whether to go with the nv5600 or the g56 tranny thanks guys

A new flywheel, the hydraulics, and the tranny and clutch of your choice.

You might have to have the dealer reflash it to complete the switch from the auto to manual, but that's about it.

Oh, and a lot of time and patience.

remove the shift cable and tuck/tie up wiring, for reverse lights get the run a power to the on side of the switch on the trans and a wire to the reverse light from the other side of the switch
