I have a customer that has the first Garrila G56 from Lazer Smith out of Texas. Its a bad ... trans. Yes there is alot that can be done. From a full cage so the case halfs can't flex and recut, treated, and coated gears. He drag races his truck and runs a very low 12 on fuel leaving in second gear at 45psi and rowing all the way to 6th at 1/8 mile.
The stock G56 even the R version never lasted and he kept pulling the teath right off 4the gear on the main and countershafts. This one seems to be holding.

I don't know. He got what was called a deal for being the first one and a test trial. The first time it ever seen the track was at the nhrda world finals in topeka ks. I realy don't know what the real price is.
I know my buddy wants to sell it. Nothing bad with it he just wants to go faster so he wants to convert to and Auto.
